Welcome to the online studio of Terry Taylor.
I am a designer and illustrator, living and working in Westchester County, just north of New York City. I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the State University of New York at Oswego in 1987. I then followed my heart to NYC where I am living out my life-long dream of being an artist.
I began working as a designer and illustrator over 17 years ago and continue the rewarding journey of creating unique designs and illustrations for children and young adults. I specialize in dimensional clay artwork. To make my illustrations, I start out with a sketch for each piece. Various colors of clay are mixed to give the piece the right hue; they are then cut out, shaped, and baked. The finished artwork is then photographed digitally. I have also created a new collection of dimensional clay images available for licensing that are sure to please the young and young at heart. These can be viewed in the licensing section of my web site.
